Where DANCE Captures the HEART and Inspires the SOUL!

Dress Code

Lady_wht_logo.png

It is important that students adhere to the dress code policy! A neat and tidy appearance sets an attitude of attentiveness and respect for students, teachers and the style of dance they are studying. Furthermore, teachers must be able to see the dancer's body outlined clearly in order to make proper corrections on posture, alignment, movements etc..

If a student is not in appropriate dance attire (this includes tights free of rips and/or holes, shoes, proper undergarments, jewelry, etc…), they may be asked to observe class. After 3rd offense, parent(s) will be notified, and student may be placed on probation. Parents are still responsible for all tuition and dues during the probationary period.

GENERAL GUIDLINES

  • Hair must be properly secured and tied up off of the face and neck for all styles of dance.

  • All students must purchase a uniform from the studio each year.

  • Students are required to wear regular street clothes over their dance attire when entering and exiting the building.

  • Students must have appropriate dance attire within a week of class start date.

  • Students must have appropriate, secure flesh or nude undergarments.

  • Students are NOT allowed to wear dance clothing with other dance studio logos while at Phusion.

  • Hair must be properly secured and tied up off of the face and neck for all styles of dance.

  • No hair scarves, rags or wraps permitted! Be sure to secure barretts and beads tightly, they are a distraction and can be dangerous to dancers if they fall off.

  • Jewelry must not be loose or dangling. Small studs are permitted.

  • No distracting nail colors, or designs will be permitted.

  • Gum chewing is not allowed.

  • No loose-fitting pants, blue jeans or t-shirts in any technique classes.
